Our History
HOUSE MAIDS FROM THE BEGINNING
BUILDING A CLIENT FRIENDLY BASED BUSINESS
House Maids is owned and operated by Karl and Rachel Collins. The business is a family run business which was established in Aug 2004. Karl has over 20 years experience in the cleaning industry, both commercially and domestic. Having previously run an office cleaning business, Carpet & Fabric cleaning restoration and maintenance within the Scotch care services network, and finally specializing in hard floor cleaning and restoration for natural and engineered flooring.
Karl and Rachel decided that it was the right time to diversify
into the domestic cleaning business utilizing some of these key skill assets. 
Rachel as a full time mum really understands how working full time
looking after children and juggling all the household chores
can be a real challenge and so House Maids was born
Karl and Rachel are proud members of the British Institute of Cleaning Science, actively engaging in training and promoting the cleaning industry profile.
More recently have been supporting and trying to implement a more sustainable Eco friendly product range
even small changes can help.
Most importantly rewarding hard working staff with excellent rates of pay and promoting happy working relationships & environment
